「想像×科学×倫理ギャラリー」とは、去年までの「100人論文」の企画からアップデートされた、東大柏一般公開にて開催される研究者と一般の方々との交流の場です。

　2023年、2024年に開催した「100人論文」とは、研究者を含む参加者が分野を越えた本音の意見交換を行い、対話・研鑽の機会となる、京都大学発祥のワークショップで、他大学でも開催されています。
「東大柏の葉100人論文」は、様々な分野の様々な研究者が自分が議論したいテーマについてのポスターを一つの場に集め掲示し、異分野理解を深める、また、研究同士、研究と社会、研究倫理との関わりについて考える企画となっています。

　本年度の「想像×科学×倫理ギャラリー」企画では、「社会にとって有益な研究を行うには？ 」をテーマにしています．さまざまな分野の研究者が、それぞれの研究テーマについて語り合いたいことをポスターにまとめて展示し、異分野間の理解を深めるとともに、研究、研究と社会、研究倫理の関係について考える場を創出します。

　The “Gallery of Socio-Technological Image×Science×Ethics” is an updated version of the “100-Person Essay” project held in previous years, designed as a place for exchange between researchers and the general public.

　The “UTokyo Kashiwa-no-ha 100-Person Essay,” held in 2023 and 2024, originated from Kyoto University's 100 Person Essay project, and has also been organized at other universities. It is a workshop where participants, including researchers, engage in frank exchanges of opinions across disciplines, providing opportunities for dialogue and mutual learning.

　At the “UTokyo Kashiwa-no-ha 100-Person Essay,” researchers from diverse fields bring together posters on the themes they wish to discuss, displayed in one place, in order to deepen interdisciplinary understanding. The project also encourages reflection on the relationships between different fields of research, between research and society, and between research and ethics.

　This year’s “Gallery of Socio-Technological Image×Science×Ethics” takes up the theme “ How can we conduct research that is beneficial to society? ” Researchers from a wide range of disciplines will prepare posters summarizing the topics they wish to discuss regarding their own research. These will be exhibited to promote mutual understanding across fields, while creating a space to reflect on research itself, its relationship with society, and its ethical dimensions.

　柏キャンパス一般公開では、「研究と社会の人々の関わり」に特に注目します。「一般の来訪者に、東大柏キャンパスで行われている様々な研究を知ってほしい、魅力を伝えたい。」「私たちの研究に対し、社会の様々な立場の人々はどのような考えを持つのか知りたい。」という思いのもと、柏図書館の展示スペースにて、柏キャンパスにおける研究を集め、来訪者が付箋などで自由にコメントを残すことのできる展示を行います。

　During the Kashiwa Open Campus, we will focus on “the relationship between research and society.” We would like to engage the general public in the charms of the various kinds of research presently being conducted at The University of Tokyo’s Kashiwa Campus. As such, we will compile various research being conducted at the Kashiwa Campus in the Kashiwa Library, where we will hold an exhibition that visitors can view and leave comments on sticky notes and the like.
