「研究、そのワクワクとモヤモヤ」は、昨年度までの「想像×科学×倫理ギャラリー」の流れを引き継ぎながら、研究者と一般の方々が研究をめぐって対話する場として発展させた、東京大学柏キャンパス一般公開の企画です。
2023年度から2025年度にかけて、本企画では「100人論文」や「想像×科学×倫理ギャラリー」などの形を通じて、研究者が自身の研究や関心をポスターにまとめ、分野を越えて共有する場をつくってきました。これらの企画は、異分野への理解を深めるとともに、異なる研究のつながり、研究と社会、科学技術と倫理の関わりについて、研究者と来場者がともに考えることを目指してきました。
本年度の「研究、そのワクワクとモヤモヤ」では、研究者が日々の研究のなかで感じる「ワクワク」と、研究を社会につなげるなかで生まれる「モヤモヤ」を共有し、来場者とともに考えることをテーマとしています。
さまざまな分野の研究者が、研究テーマやそれに関連する社会的なトピックに加えて、研究を進めるなかで心が動く瞬間、探究の楽しさ、まだ答えの出ていない問いをポスターにまとめて展示します。研究の過程にある期待、迷い、葛藤を共有することで、研究者同士、そして研究者と来場者が対話し、互いに考えを深める場をつくります。
“Research: The Excitement and Unease” is a project for the University of Tokyo Kashiwa Campus Open Campus Day. Building on the flow of last year’s “Image × Science × Ethics Gallery,” it has been developed as a space where researchers and members of the general public can engage in dialogue about research.
From 2023 to 2025, this project has created opportunities for researchers to present their research and interests in poster format and share them across disciplinary boundaries, through titles such as “100 Person Essay” and the “Image × Science × Ethics Gallery.” These activities have aimed to deepen understanding across different fields, while also inviting researchers and visitors to think together about the connections between different areas of research, the relationship between research and society, and the links between science, technology, and ethics.
This year’s “Research: The Excitement and the Unease” focuses on sharing the moments that make researchers’ hearts leap in their daily work, as well as the deep reflection that arise when connecting research with society, and thinking about them together with visitors.
Researchers from a wide range of fields will present posters that bring together their research themes, related social topics, moments that move them as they pursue their work, the joy of inquiry, and questions that remain unanswered. By sharing the expectations, doubts, and struggles that emerge in the process of research, this project aims to create a space where researchers can engage in dialogue with one another and with visitors, deepening their thinking together.

柏キャンパス一般公開では、「研究と社会の人々の関わり」に特に注目します。「一般の来訪者に、東大柏キャンパスで行われている様々な研究を知ってほしい、魅力を伝えたい。」「私たちの研究に対し、社会の様々な立場の人々はどのような考えを持つのか知りたい。」という思いのもと、柏図書館の展示スペースにて、柏キャンパスにおける研究を集め、来訪者が付箋などで自由にコメントを残すことのできる展示を行います。
During the Kashiwa Open Campus, we will focus on “the relationship between research and society.” We would like to engage the general public in the charms of the various kinds of research presently being conducted at The University of Tokyo’s Kashiwa Campus. As such, we will compile various research being conducted at the Kashiwa Campus in the Kashiwa Library, where we will hold an exhibition that visitors can view and leave comments on sticky notes and the like.

参加方法は、ご自身が議論したいテーマについてのGoogleフォームへの回答のみです。お気軽にご参加頂けます（シェアーしたいテーマなどについて簡潔にお答えいただく形になっています。ここで考えておけば、学会などで、初対面の人に自分の研究を短い時間で伝える時に役に立つかも)。記入された内容は実行委員によりポスター形式に変換され、一般公開当日に柏図書館に掲示されます。掲示に対し来訪者が残したコメントは、後日、皆様にお伝えいたします。
※ご自身でポスターを作成、印刷等して頂く必要はありません。
※ポスター前の立ち番不要
※一般に公開してよい内容のみ募集しております。
To participate, please answer the form on the topic you would like to discuss. (Please answer briefly on your research theme, purpose, etc.). The completed forms will be converted into a simple poster format created by the committee members for display at the Kashiwa Library on the day of the Open Campus. Comments left by visitors on posters will be shared with the public at a later date.

「想像ｘ科学ｘ倫理」における学生企画は、「異分野対話力」（自分の研究を相手に応じてわかりやすく伝える力、相手の研究を理解するために必要な対話の力）、また、自分の研究と他の研究を俯瞰することのできる広い視野を得ることを目的としています。
これらは、社会課題に対し様々な分野の知見を統合し解決を図る過程、また、「誠実で責任ある研究活動」とは何か、研究倫理について考える過程で必要となるものだと考えます。
「研究、そのワクワクとモヤモヤ」（旧:東大柏の葉 100人論文)は、これらの力を身につけるための「対話の入り口」として開催いたします。
柏の葉で行われている研究を集め、それらを俯瞰して見て研究同士の関係性を考えてみる、また、一般の人からコメントを頂くことで、研究が社会からどう捉えられているか考えてみる、という機会を提供したいと考えております。
また、本企画が参考にする「京都大学100人論文（https://www.cpier.kyoto-u.ac.jp/project/kyoto-u-100-papers/）」は、「学内の研究者に声をかけ、京都大学らしい先端的な研究テーマや、これから研究になるかもしれない芽を100近く掲示する展示企画。研究者を含む参加者は掲示に対して無記名で意見を投稿。分野を越えた本音の意見交換を行い、対話・研鑽の機会となる。本企画は京都大学だけでなく、他大にも拡がりつつある。」を意義に掲げています。
The student initiative under “Image × Science × Ethics” aims to help participants develop interdisciplinary dialogue skills—the ability to explain their own research clearly and accessibly to people from different backgrounds, and to engage in the dialogue needed to understand research in other fields. It also seeks to foster a broader perspective that enables participants to step back and see how their own research relates to other areas of research.
We believe these skills are essential when bringing together knowledge and perspectives from different disciplines to address complex social challenges. They are equally important when considering what constitutes responsible and trustworthy research, and when reflecting on questions of research ethics.
“Research: The Excitement and the Unease” (formerly UTokyo Kashiwanoha 100 Person Essay) is designed as an entry point for dialogue through which participants can begin developing these skills.
By bringing together research being conducted across Kashiwa-no-ha, the event provides an opportunity to view these diverse projects side by side and consider the connections among them. At the same time, comments and perspectives from members of the public offer researchers a chance to reflect on how their work is perceived by society.
This initiative is inspired by Kyoto University 100-person research poster presentation (https://www.cpier.kyoto-u.ac.jp/project/kyoto-u-100-papers/), an exhibition project that invites researchers from across Kyoto University to present nearly 100 cutting-edge research topics—as well as emerging ideas that may develop into future research. Participants, including fellow researchers, can leave anonymous comments on the exhibits, creating opportunities for candid exchange across disciplinary boundaries, dialogue, and mutual learning. The initiative, which began at Kyoto University, is now spreading to other universities as well.
